This serie shows the joy I experienced in Laos and Thailand. I like the fact that I was able to take portraits of different people. In Chiang Mai, a big city in the north of Thailand, I made portraits off jung people with the knowledge of the modern world and style.
In Laos I was in a little hill tribe village and made portraits of children with the same knowledge of whom they are in this world as in Chiang Mai. I experienced that they are both happy and proud of who they are. With their sense of humour and there way of life, they made me smile.
